Thank You!

We had a wonderful turnout for our spring carnival this year, and cannot thank our families enough for their donations, participation, and support!  The children all seemed to enjoy themselves, and we are very anxious to decorate the academy with some photographs!  We would like to extend a special ”thank you” to Kellie Wilson, Director of Youth Ministries at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, and her team of youth leaders that volunteered their time to help us run our game stations.  The youth did a tremendous job and we are very appreciative of their willingness to help.

Trike-A-Thon Results

The children of Holy Cross Academy raised $1,235.66 for the patients of St. Jude this year! Riley Allen in 4K collected the most
donations…way to go, Riley! We owe a special “thank you” to Mr.Craig Boyles for his time, energy, and assistance on this special day! Thanks also to those of you who came out to help cheer the children on!

A New Playground THIS Summer!

Dr. William Bannen, a long time local physician, was gracious enough to include Holy Cross in his will. Our Vestry has agreed to use this generous bequest to provide Holy Cross Academy with much-needed playground equipment. This has been a goal of our Vestry for several years and we are all excited that Dr. Bannen’s gift will allow us to make this dream a reality. A planning team is discussing the specifics of the equipment and where it will be located. Upon completion, a blessing and dedication service will take place. We are grateful to Dr. Bannen and his family for this wonderful opportunity to serve the kids of Holy Cross  Academy. “May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.” (Book of Common Prayer)
