Classes are held on Tuesdays
First Steps in Music is a joyful introduction to music for children ages 3-5 years. In each 40-minute class, music is experienced through singing, playing instruments, movement, puppetry, rhymes, finger plays and children’s literature related to music. In each class, we work on developing singing, rhythm, listening skills, and sensitivity to the expressive qualities in music. First Steps in Music immerses the child in language, evokes movement, stimulates the brain and fosters physical coordination in a group setting that builds community, making music the perfect tool for child development.
